Yayasan Maritim Nusantara Lestari is a non-profit organization that focuses on empowerment in coastal areas. Not only focusing on the social aspect, but we also have a sustainable marine ecosystem management program as a real contribution to making Indonesia the world’s maritime axis.

The Program
Yayasan Maritim Nusantara Lestari was established as a breakthrough in order to achieve the vision and mission of the organization. Hence, the programs are:
Sarasehan
Interactive platform with the fishers in order to create an insightful social impact, start by building a mutually supportive relationship between Aruna and the fishers. Sarasehan is a frequent event, being a forum for discussion in solving any challenges in coastal life.
Koin Nelayan
“Coin of The Fishers” is a voluntary mass fundraising program from fishers to fishers, as social funding for those in need, especially for fishing families and coastal communities in general.
Nelayan Sejahtera
A program that is specifically developed to improve the standard of living in coastal communities through capacity building, women empowerment, financial education, and many more, mainly targeting the fishers as head of household and their family.
Maritim Lestari
The foundation’s program with the main focus on protecting the coastal and marine environment in Indonesia by providing education about maintaining the quality of natural resources that are environmentally friendly and building waste management infrastructure in coastal areas.
Koperasi Nelayan
This activity aims to invite coastal communities and fishermen to have legal groups/organizations so that it will facilitate coordination and cooperation between coastal communities.
Program IRIS (Inovasi dan Riset)
This program aims to invite and cooperate with educated communities or academics (lecturers/students/students) to actively contribute to the development of innovations in the fisheries and marine sector to advance sustainable fisheries.
