The Milestone of Aruna

The journey of Aruna milestone up until today

2016

Aruna was first established and started its business by doing market validation. At that time, Aruna collaborated with cooperatives in West Java, PusKud Mina in 3 locations as well as the implementation of Aruna's first application in these three locations.

2017

Received the first major funding and decided to move to Jakarta. Aruna used its first funding to develop the first Aruna fishing community in 2017 in Balikpapan. Aruna also made its first direct sales in three cities and started the first export as well.

2018

Aruna expanded throughout the major islands of Indonesia, with the number of commodities sold increasing 3 times. This year, Aruna added 3 export destination countries, bringing the total to 4 countries. In 2018, Aruna collaborated with the Ministry of Village and PDTT in distributing village funds in coastal areas.

2019

Aruna's revenue increased 5 times from 2018. This allowed Aruna to build international points in Jakarta and Makassar. This year, Aruna was invited to be a speaker at the Global Women Conference in China. Aruna worked together with BNI, Astra International and the Ministry of Manpower to develop the coastal village.

2020

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the revenue has increased by 86 times and then opened 2 more international points in Surabaya and Semarang. Aruna launched the "points and rewards" program this year to appreciate outstanding Aruna fishermen. Also, launched its first domestic retail brand, "Seafood By Aruna".
